Out of all of the taxi companies in Toronto, this has to be the worst. Whether it's the arguments and attitudes of drivers when moving their vehicles through the city (I heard a driver today say to a bicyclist that they came this close to hitting, to F&#k off), or when I am driving a vehicle and watch the crazy and erratic driving of their taxi operators (they act as though they can just stop in the middle of traffic whenever they like, can change lanes and cut off other drivers whenever they want and this has happened consistently for 12 years so hence my decision to finally review this company), Beck Taxi is exactly the reason why Uber is going to be more successful in Toronto.
And to make matters worse, I have called Beck numerous times to notify them of dangerous driving, bad attitudes of drivers and bad customer service to be told it's NOT THEIR PROBLEM and if I have an issue with a driver to call the police or 911. EXCUSE ME?!?! Why would I call 911 for a non-emergency? I call a company to give feedback (which is so critical to business success) and I get nothing but attitude from your dispatchers and managers, so it's no wonder your "culture" is spoiled, bitty and sour. Your customers can see this too in everything you do and I am sorry to say that I won't be using your services anymore because I don't want to risk my life or others in a car that's dirty, smelly and unsafe.
Sorry Beck you've had plenty of time to make changes and all you do is the same thing over and over and over. Luckily as a consumer I have choices and using your services will NOT be one I make again.
