  • Do not buy the extended warranty on appliances. I had a bad experience with them not covering my top rack of the dishwasher which clearly had a defect, but they claimed it's cosmetic. The non-biased technician who came out and took pictures and said that our issue was due to a defect and it's not cosmetic. The Lowe's Customer Service department still rejected our claim. Also, a side note-no one from Lowe's Home Warranty never followed up with me-they closed our claim case. I had to call them after not hearing back from them to see what the deal was (I waited 11 days). Supervisor, Steven is condescending and talks down to you. Avoid this extended warranty, buy elsewhere!
