Ok. So you get what you pay for.
But - this hotel has definitely seen better days. They have revamped the rooms so they are "updated" but as many casino/hotels in Vegas has definitely had its years of use and abuse.
To start the regular rooms - they are big and functional, no-frills rooms. Definitely a place to crash. The Go rooms are better - but painted white so you can see the use in these rooms very easily. A little more nifty with the tvs in the bathroom mirror versus the regular rooms.
The elevator situation stinks no matter where you are. You wait and wait for an elevator.
This hotel is heavily trafficked - and you will hear people all night (especially if you are facing the strip - you will hear the Omnia across the street, the people running up and down the hallways, etc.)
The High Roller side/LINQ is the safest side to stay on in terms of noise, but you will pay more. (Habitat elevators)
However - I do like the Flamingo for its convenience on the strip and the pool is great. They have a huge pool with a grotto, slide, dj, etc. And the bonus is there is a kids pool - so the adults can have their own.
If I could give it 2.5 stars, I would.
