| - My family and I are regulars here. We love the playground on the corner of Braddock and Forbes. Who can beat an ice cream shop right across the street? Also, there's a nice little, paved circle around the top of the park for beginner bike riders to use, or just for a nice stroll to stretch your legs. Headed into the heart of the park, you'll come across numerous trails - some single track wooded, hilly heartracers, flat trails for meandering. Dogs are abundant in the park, walking around, as well as enjoying the sectioned off play areas. There's ample shade in the park, so even on hot days, it's rather comfortable for a stroll. Haven't been to the newly built nature/environmental center at the top. Of the park, but it is on our list of must-dos this summer. There are also numerous activities the park sponsors, for all age groups. This is a wonderful place to train for trail races, bike and/or running. This will always be one of our favorite parks.
