I went on Monday night. The ambiance there is great, the wine was Ok, the vocalist was fantastic. It lost a star for me, though, when the vocalist came around with a tip jar looking for money and giving people looks who didn't contribute. It just cheapened the experience. Either charge the $5 cover, or don't and leave the tip jar up front for those to contribute as they see fit. Don' t make a big deal about how great it is that you are the only night that doesn't charge a cover, and then walk around guilting patrons into paying. Not classy.
