  • Well I've been to Mabels on Roncy and I love that location. I have to admit when I saw this location's average rating was less...I thought...hmm, well that was my experience as well! I got my favourites squares, chocolate brownie and lemon square and they were good as usual. But I thought the service was only so-so and they were not as helpful and seemed in a hurry to get everyone through. Now the nice thing about this location is you can sit which I did. I got a egg salad sandwich, made that morning, but in the fridge and it was super cold to bite into. And they charged for an specialty sandwich as opposed to the vegetarian option! Unless you're vegan I have served eggs to my vegetarian friends..so I felt ripped off by that! I should had gone to Pain Perdu just a hop, skip away and had a fresh sandwich for the same price! I still like Mabels but if I'm St. Clair, I will pass on this location. There are other options that are better!
