| - This is probably the rudest business I have ever been to in my life. I have been there three times. The first time the owner was rude to me. The second time it was a bigger guy wth a shaved head who provided excellent customer service. He was very warm, caring, and understanding. The third time it was the owner again who has a bitter energy. I go in there to get my shoes re-soled He tells me to pick out insoles from the wall. Now remember, I have NO EXPERIENCE with this industry. I DID NOT KNOW which ones to pick out, so I say, rather frustratingly, "There are about 13 different insoles here what do I pick?" He snaps back in vitriolic tone, "Pick your size!" Mind you, I'm SPENDING MORE MONEY with him and he wouldn't even get off his butt to help his client! Get out from behind the counter dude! So then after I pick out the insoles, I have a second pair of shoes that I was hoping I could get a LIGHT 1 minute polish around the edge since he wouldn't have my other shoes done for five days. He says condescendingly that his worker isn't there. ......There's no follow up. He provides no solution to my conundrum. I'm thinking "He owns a shoe shop and he can't polish the edge?" I clarify with him again because it is almost an insult to my intelligence that this guy owns the shop but can't do a simple polish. Instead he is pointing to another wall 8 feet away to buy another product from him when AGAIN he won't even GET UP to show me where it is. I took my shoes back and said that I did not like how he was being rude. That's when he decided to come around the counter to put the insoles back on the wall that I had picked out! He gets off his butt to further irritate his client, but NOT to help his client in the first place? Listen, I've been there in the service industry, I know clients ask dumb questions or you have to repeat the same thing again. But that's part of doing business. I deal with it all the time at my work. It takes patience. This guy is not a social person. He should do himself and the people of Phoenix a favor, and retire. This guy is lazy and bitter.
