I hate to leave a 3 star review because the staff was super nice and so was the doctor. So why the 3 star review? Well first off I know that I was a first time patient at this eye doctor but it literally took an hour and a half for my eye exam which is pretty crazy. Also, I almost felt like they were being too salesy when asking if I wanted certain treatments that wouldn't be covered by insurance. It also felt a little salesy at the end when the doctor made a comment about how I should look into getting glasses there as well. Like I said, they were all very nice people so I don't mean to talk bad about them it was just a more sales-pressured experience which I was not used to at other eye doctors.
Lastly, this is the biggest thing that I was not happy with. So at the end of my appointment the doctor hands two boxes of contacts over to the receptionist which I was assuming was the amount of contacts that my insurance covered. So I just double checked with the receptionist to see if that is all my insurance covered which was a big mistake to ask because instead of taking 2 boxes of contacts home my insurance didn't even cover 2 whole box (according to the receptionist) so I had to pay out of pocket for the remaining balance of what my insurance didn't cover. I honestly don't mind paying for whatever my insurance didn't cover but where was the confusion on why the doctor gave me 2 boxes? Wouldn't she know that my insurance didn't even cover 1 box after paying for the eye exam? I don't know. Just a little fishy. I might give this place another try but I will definitely be hesitant in recommending them.
