This has got to be one of the best dim sum and Chinese dishes I've had in a while. I'm also visiting from Salt Lake City, UT where Dim sum is limited, so trust me on this one. This brightly lit restaurant will catch anyone's eyes when walking through Gold Coast Casino. For a party of 5 around 845pm Saturday night, we were seated within 10 minutes.
Maybe the carts only come around during lunch, but for dinner services, you order from the menu. We ordered family style to try a little bit of everything.
----Entree----
Singapore noodles: a little too salty for me, but overall, great flavors.
Beef flat noodles: saucy and soft pieces of beef. Delicious!
Three mushrooms: my favorite dish because of the shiitaki mushrooms.
Calamari with lotus root in XO sauce: calamari is great, but I wasn't a fan of the lotus root. It's got the crunchy texture of a water chestnut, except it's bigger.
Salt and pepper pork chop: just order this. It's so good! Crunchy texture on the outside and soft pork. Just be careful you don't chomp down on the bone thinking it's the crunchy layer......like me
----Dim Sum----
Shu mai: oh it's the best I've had!
Chicken feet: it almost melts in your mouth. Then you gotta spit out the chicken bones.
Har gow (shrimp dumpling): can't go wrong ordering these
Steamed pork buns: these are my dessert when I eat dim sum!
