Polite people, nice facilities; poor service. . .
The results of Zimbrick East's multi-point inspection:
March '15: 40-50% brake linings left
Sept. '15: 50% brake linings left
March '16: 60% brake linings left
This is not a typo: according to their service department, I actually gained 10%-20% of my brake linings over 12 months.
Turns out that my car followed the laws of nature and the braking linings were actually wearing down. In fact, by June '16 no brake linings were left and after "metal on metal" contact (another service department's words, not mine), I needed to immediately replace my brake pads and rotors.
I informed Zimbrick East of this situation and, although they acknowledged that this was not the best service, I was quoted by a service advisor that their mechanics eyeball brake linings, and this sort of inconsistency is not unusual. I did not get my brakes replaced here.
