  • I can see where a lot of the negative comments and reviews are coming from. What do people expect? It's a budget airline, gets you from one place to the next on a low fare. I wouldn't expect too much and expect a first class experience! Even so, my first time flying Spirit Airlines was a positive one. The airline waives bag fees for military members and if you're lucky volunteer for the emergency exit window row. Leg room isn't bad and it's a great bargain. The airline does have problems with being on time and departure but the crew was very friendly and kind.
