| - We spent three nights here weekend before last.
Took advantage of the free hotel shuttle that picks you up at T1. Call the hotel once you're off the plane and at T1. Allow enough time. We got off at T3; took the airport shuttle over to T1; called the hotel to advise we were at T1. They said give it 15 minutes. From the time we got off the plane at T3 and finally made it into the Residence Inn hotel lobby, it was about an hour. Leaving Vegas to the airport itself from the hotel was about 10 minutes.
The hotel staff is the best. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
The same hotel shuttle can drop you off at the Mandalay Bay hotel & casino on the Strip. Let the hotel staff know what time you'll like to go and they'll write your room # and time on the log sheet. We utilized the shuttle to the Mandalay & back to the Residence Inn several times in addition to utilizing Uber/Lyft at times. Keep in mind the last scheduled pickup time at Mandalay is 10:30p.m.
Residence Inn is located next door to the Premium Outlets South. You can see the outlets from the hotel parking lot. From the hotel to the outlet entrance, allow 10 minutes walking.
The primary reasons we decided to stay here:
* comp hotel shuttle from airport to hotel. Added bonus - to Mandalay.
* comp breakfast - hot & cold items. The usual items: scrambled eggs, sausage, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, dry cereal, muffins, bagels, juice, coffee, etc. And a waffle iron where you can make your own.
* fairly new hotel so everything looked clean & tidy.
We used a Marriott certificate & points to stay here, but I'd consider staying here regardless of.
