| - I am a HUGE FAN of this place. The staff is out of this world!!! We had a few glitches on checking in as we had reserved 2 rooms and requested suites and when we checked in there was only one room reserved and it wasn't a suite. While the standard room was really chic, clean and completely acceptable, this was a special anniversary weekend for our friends. We politely contacted the management and they had us in sweet suites in no time and with no attitude!
Excellent location just across from the HRH, very chic unique Modern Baroque decor, unsurpassed staff (Fletcher at the front desk day shift and Brandon the valet were the coolest!), reasonable on your wallet, beautiful pool area, and a very cool vibe in the lounge during the evenings offering 50% off all drinks during happy hour. I really like the clientèle this place attracts. Lots of tattoo's with out the trailer trash. Even though my group I were a bit older than the majority of the crowd, there was no pariah feeling. Everyone was just very chill. Awesome lounge to hang out and talk intimately with friends or peruse for your next relationship. It is my new favorite place to stay when I don't want to drive or pay $60 just for the cab ride all the way home to the NW side of town.
Needless to say, they have succeeded in making me a fan and a loyal return customer. Happy to recommend this place to anyone looking for a little different vibe from the strip while not losing any of the fun.
One word of caution, they frown on outside alcohol in the common areas. If you want to take it to your room, just be discreet and bring it through the gates and not the main lobby. They are trying to "keep it classy Las Vegas" and don't want to make their bartenders and waitresses clean up messes they don't get tipped for.
