Because all the compliments from Yelpers', we went there for Sunday brunch and ordered their special dishes, such as ESCARGOTS BARDOT, hunter's waffle, and lobster croissant. ESCARGOTS BARDOT is good but hunter's waffle and lobster croissant.
Let's start with lobster croissant, this dish doesn't keep up with the price I paid,$32. You expect the croissant to be crispy and buttery and when you put lobster on the top, a good chef should consider it might get soggy and try to do something about it. However, it didn't and you even can see watery croissant because of water from lobster. Don't even mention about hunter's waffle, it tastes exactly like lobster croissant just changed the lobster to duck confit because the sauce they used is the same. It is like playing Lego you put stuffs you need and do nothing to balance the ingredient. I am very disappointed about their dishes and for price I paid, Bouchon at The Venetian is doing better than Bardot.
