The staff at Duo Patisserie is absolutely fantastic! They kept us engaged during our wait and were mindful enough to keep us informed continuously.
Our visit was about an hour and a half from closing, but they were kind enough to set aside the pastries we wanted so that when we did get a table, we wouldn't need to wait to place an order. This was also done to ensure we have our pick of pastries as opposed to being subject to what's leftover.
After being seated, the staff was extremely attentive and apologetic for the wait. They also only charged us for a medium Macha latte, but gave us a large because of the wait.
The pastries were amazing. each had a unique taste and texture and you really do need to try them yourself! The latte was awesome. Not too lite and the perfect temp and sweetness ... I'd definitely order it again!
Pastries:
- Hazel : a crispy hazel nut chocolate mousse desert with a crispy praline layer and toasted sesame seeds
- Mont Blanc: chestnut soaked I aged rum with a shortbread crust. The top is a chestnut paste vermicelli
-Strawberry cheese pastry
-Spicy Salami croissant (not 100% sure, but it was great!)
