| - I have had Louie's service techs to my house a couple times to repair appliances I already own and the man was polite, professional, and fixed the problem at a reasonable price. HOWEVER, walking into the store for a part is a completely different story. I needed an appliance part for a very common brand and when I got there a salesman was having a cigarette right outside the front door (disgusting) and did not even say hello. I walked in and it was a full ten minutes before my presence was even acknowledged. When the young man finally came out of the back room, he had to call two other people to try to find the part I needed, while I just stood there waiting. They ultimately could not get a simple part to a common brand of appliance to me before the next day. Also, while I was there, a pizza was delivered. Perhaps their time could be better spent stocking the back room and brushing up on basic customer service skills, rather than ordering delivery.
My clothes dryer at my house also needs a service call, but after this horribly disappointing experience wasting my time, I will NOT be calling Louie's, despite my previous successful service calls. Good customer service is everything, and Mario's appliance is right down the street.
