  • I really enjoy what Dick and Jane has become in the past few years. Initially it seemed like more of an adorably kitschy gift shop, and then I was overjoyed by the influx in Alternative Apparel clothing. Now, it seems they have stricken the perfect balance of both, carrying a large array of adorable men and women's clothing, novelty kitchenwares, adorable teacups, paper lanterns, jewellery, books, and lomography cameras. The staff are charming and friendly, they are always playing my favourite bands, and I never go home without something adorable for my kitchen. Today, it just so happened to be a "Home Sweet Home" mug perfect for hibernating on Sunday mornings off with tea this winter, as well as a set of "Babushkups," which are Russian Nesting cups. This was especially suitable after my first non-Yelp visit to a Communist bar last night. Life rules!
