  • Crunch Fitness Erin Mills has violated their own Privacy Policy and shared, rent and/ or purchased my personal and bank account information from the previous owners of this gym, Premier Fitness and started charging me monthly without my consent. I signed a membership with World Gym (now closed, previously Premier Fitness and now currently Crunch Fitness) I agreed to a 1 year contract and paid $33.90/month. However, I cancelled my membership after 1 year because the gym is awful and I had ongoing billing issues and World Gym closed so I would have had to now sign up under Crunch but I declined. The place is a disorganized mess. The other day I logged into a different bank account that was linked to my old Premier Fitness account which was closed in 2010 and noticed Crunch Fitness Erin Mills was now mysteriously debiting $19.49/month. I never gave World Gym or Crunch Fitness this billing info so it it obvious that Crunch Fitness purchased any old World Gym and Premier Fitness accounts and started billing those clients without their consent. I called the gym and the staff admitted to the error and that it has happened to dozens of other customers since their new billing system took effect. I was never issued a refund, I was told I had to show up in person and find the supervisor Herminio as he was the only person with any authority to make changes on the account. I have since reported them and their fraudulent business practices to Consumer Protection Ontario, Better Business Bureau and have contacted several media outlets (Pat Foran's team at consumer alerts) and I will not stop until I receive a full refund and ALL of my personal information is purged from their systems. Do not give Crunch Fitness your business, or your personal information. There are many other gyms in Mississauga that will offer you affordable memberships in a clean facility and offer you the ability to pay up front. By the way the gym is absolutely filthy and run down. The bathrooms are damp, moldy and dusty. The children's daycare is also filthy, and extremely unsafe. Don't even get me started on the pool, you'd probably get a severe staph infection if you stepped foot in there.
