| - I've been coming to Bikram Yoga Forest Hill for 8 months now, and I love this studio. The instructors are all excellent...they all have their own distinctive styles and this diversity helps to improve one's practice. Janice, the owner, is an inspiration in her belief in the practice.
The staff treat you like family. Here's an example: I left, by accident, a soggy bag of yoga clothes at the studio. When I realized my error and came back to the studio to retrieve the clothing, it was freshly laundered and folded, waiting for me. (Janice worried that the clothing would get ruined!)
But what is most catching, is that Bikram really works. I used to go to physiotherapy every week to deal with wrist and hip pain, and found Bikram yoga much better for pain management. (I have not needed to go back to physio since I've started Bikram.) It also calms the mind significantly, and I've found I've been able to focus much more clearly on everything.
Oh, and if you're looking to keep fit, note that Bikram yoga burns approximately 1000 calories per class. Need I say more? http://bikramyogatoronto.com/archives/547
