  • Out of all the places in the Car Rentel complex in Vegas, this is my favorite company to rent from thus far. I booked my car rental through Priceline because they always seem to give me the best pricing every time I check. I don't even have to stumble with coupon codes or discount ID's like I do with their main site. I was able to use the electronic Kiosk to get my booking. I did not have to stand in line and see a desk agent for my booking. The line maybe had about 4-5 people waiting for a desk agent but I proceeded to use the electronic kiosk. The electronic kiosk was amazing. It found my reservation with no problem. It took my credit card also with no issues. It did try to up sell me insurance and some GPS items, but didn't need it because I bought the 3rd party insurance with Priceline so I didn't have to use my insurance back at home. Other then that the Kiosk experience was quick, easy & painless. After getting your paper work from the machine, you walk up the escalators and walk all the way to the back for Alamo Cars. Its not that bad of a walk but if you have alot of luggage and kids, it can be a pain to walk to. The car I rented was a compact which was slim pickings when we finally go the compact area to pick the cars we wanted. I decided to go with a white Toyota Yaris. It had California license plates and It has pretty high miles for rental car. It had about 30k miles and the brakes were pretty shot. Another thing I didn't like about the Yaris was that it did not have a key fob for the power door locks. So every time you had to leave, you had to lock the car with your keys by putting it in the key slot. The car it self had ample power driving around the strip and getting to places that were away from the strip some. Upon returning my car. it was painless and easy. I made sure it had a full tank of gas. they person taking in the car did a quick walk around to make sure no big damages. asked if I wanted to charge the card that was on file, i said yes, waiting for my receipt and walked out to the front area for my friend who was waiting to pick me up. Over All, Alamo in vegas is the best rental car company in the facility hands down.
