Love coffee, Peet's has great coffee. Don't like the politics posted by the cash register -- reminds you every dollar you spend goes towards political issues. I'm all about charity, and have traveled to 4 continents assisting long term humanitarian efforts, and lived 2 years overseas. The non-inclusive charities that are advertised recipients of Peet's profits ignore global poverty but rather focus on US political topics, and programs already well funded.
Tired of blending political action committees and true charity.
Ugh, maybe I won't be so sensitive when a viable 3rd party finally arrives in Washington. Vote 3rd party, and fight the non-collaborative finger pointing that's eroding USA's position to truly help the world's poor see more opportunity.
