  • For starters, I will try and make this brief without the laundry list level of complaints but there is so much to touch on. This gym has turned into an absolute circus since the LA Fitness buyout of 24Hr Fitness. They have made it abundantly clear that regular patrons are of last priority. This facility is by far the worst location of LA Fitness I have ever visited. I will try and touch on all aspects of this facility. Staff: The staff could not be bothered with any of their patrons as they will not even make eye contact when scanning in. Staff is constantly on their cell phones or horsing around instead of maintaining the facility. More times than not there is no one at the desk at all. However, there is one girl who actually does her job at the desk well and if I had her name I would provide credit for her. Maintenance: Most recently, the dumbell racks were nearly empty as all the weights were scattered throughout the gym. Water fountains appear to be under maintenance for weeks at a time as is the gym equipment. Some of the machines and racks are not even bolted to the ground which is entirely unsafe. The cardio equipment is an even bigger disappointment. You had better be prepared to test three different machines before finding one that is fully functioning. Cleanliness: The restrooms are utterly deplorable. The smell is comparable to an outhouse and I advise you use the restroom before you go to the gym. The jacuzzi is always cloudy, brown, yellow, or green and I would not dare step into it. I've seen that trash in the sauna has sat for days at a time before being picked up. Lastly, the only reason I am still here is because it is 24hrs which is a necessity for me. If you can spend your 30/month elsewhere I strongly suggest you do.
