After my initial screening mammography, I came here for diagnostic mammograms. Waiting for two weeks seemed forever.
This place is very large compared to other location I went and x-ray is located first floor and mammography is on the second floor. They have elevator but also have nice stirs in open space area.
Check in was very smooth and I was called in before I even had time to do anything else. They call you two days before an appointment and no wait as long as you show up at your scheduled time.
Very clean facility, nicely appointed furniture, restroom was clean, lots of chairs at waiting area with some magazines.
Procedure was smooth. She explained to me throughly what she was going to do and helped me stay clam. Her voice was so gentle and kind. It was assuring to know what's next.
All the staff I encountered was very nice. They will have your result available if you want to wait 10-15 mins. For me, waiting 10 mins seemed forever. All the emotion was inside me, I was trying think something positive while waiting. As soon as my tech came back with the result, I burst into tears with relief. She gave me tissues and patted my back to help me calm down.
Apparently many of us cries and staff was trained what to do. They have a mini fridge with mini bottle of waters from Nestle at the changing waiting area. A bottle said pure life. I know it's just coincident but I thought of Pura Vida (pure life in Spanish, and means good life in Costa Rica). Water never tasted so good in my life.
They were so efficient, I came in and left in 40 mins. I would come back again next year.
