Surprisingly, the female manager/supervisor on duty was quite rude, inconsiderate and not at all helpful when we dropped off the u-haul. We've used this location before and have gotten great service in the past. The pick up location in Illinois was changed last minute from a U-Haul store location which was convenient to some hole in the wall repair shop way out of the way which cost us an extra 45 min & mileage. Picked up the truck with 3/4 gas, dropped it off with a full tank and were charged an additional $2 for extra mileage. Seriously? When I brought up the full tank of gas & extra driving due to unexpected change, the rude manager told me we were lucky to have a truck available and should be grateful. Um, I made a reservation which was secured with a credit card! What's the point of the reservation then? Under the circumstances the $2 extra charge was absolutely silly seeing as extra mileage was incurred due to switch in location and we brought it back with an extra 1/4 tank of gas. But $2 on principle + rudeness and lack of customer service will be costing U-haul our future business.
