  • So I stayed here with my brother using credit card hotel points which is a good thing because you could not get me to pay to stay here. Basically it is a roof overhead if you are on a budget and watching every dollar. First, the woman doing check in was very rude and clearly hates her job. I understand, you're working the night shift at the Days Inn from Hell, but try to slap a smile on your face when working a position of customer service okay? There is running water and a warm bed which are the positives. The entire place was is serious need of updates including peeling wallpaper, fixtures, furniture and carpet. There is a very distinct musty odor mixed with a smokey smell as if this used to be a smoking facility. When we got to our room, there was an entirely different musty odor which was worsened by the fact that they did not have the AC on despite it being 80+ degrees outside. Miraculously, the AC did work so no complaints there. Our room had a mini fridge but only one garbage can. Ice machine and vending down the hall. At first the TV had no picture but after turning it off and on a couple times and adjusting some cords, we got it working. Pets are apparently allowed here because a dog was barking all night long making sleep nearly impossible. I guess the dog didn't like it the accommodations either. The room looked clean without visible dirt, hair, etc in the bathroom but the carpet needed vacuumed and there was some mold on the bathroom walls. There was also some highly suspicious white substance on one of the pillows. Gross. See my pictures. The continental breakfast was very basic. Cereal, toast, oatmeal and coffee. The "breakfast room" aka "the breakfast sauna" is open from 630-930 everyday and is great if you want to burn calories from sweating while you eat them. As I said, I personally would not pay to stay here but if you're on a serious budget, it does suffice. Otherwise, it's not worth the price you pay.
