| - My parents and my family went to Scottsdale for the first time during Thanksgiving week in 2015, and we really enjoyed the town very much. That is until e went into this coin shop. the owner was a complete asshole, about as rude as you can be. My wife, mother, daughter and myself went in as he asked what can he help us with, to which I replied "hello, I'm just looking right now". At that moment you can see he complete tuned out and wasn't the least bit interested. As I was looking in the rare coin case I asked a couple questions and he kept his answers very short with an attitude behind them. My family noticed his rudeness and my daughter even noticed when I was talking to my mom that the owner rolled his eyes. What kind of jerk is this guy to treat customers this way?
I hope he sees this review so maybe it'll wake him up a little bit, but I have a feeling he wouldn't care in the least. I was there ready to spend some money since I'm not some novice coin collector. Having collected for over forty years, I've assembled a decent collection. He did have a couple coins I was interested in but I just didn't want to ask with his crappy attitude. With any luck, he'll "move" on if you know what I mean, then someone else can move into his store who wants to do business. Scottsdale, this really is a black eye on an otherwise nice city.
