I purchased a Groupon on November 1st 2016 for a 4-hour house cleaning by Pro Clean. I wanted to have my house cleaned for Christmas. I called the number on the Groupon several times to schedule an appointment but no one answered or returned my calls. About a week later a lady finally answered the phone and was very rude. She told me they no longer do the four- hour cleaning special and wanted to know when I purchased my Groupon. I told her I bought it the previous week. She said they had no openings until January. I told her I was disappointed because I wanted it for Christmas but she said the earliest they could do it was in two months. She told me I needed to text her with my address and the date she gave me and she would confirm my appointment through text. So I did as she requested and even offered to accept a refund in my text if they no longer wanted to honor the cleaning special I purchased. I received no confirmation text back. The next day I re-texted them again and asked for the confirmation they promised to provide me. Finally, I received a text that said "Yes" "Its ok".
Several days before our scheduled appointment I texted them the gate code to the community. I received no response. The day before our scheduled cleaning I sent another message confirming our scheduled cleaning. I again received no response. The day of our cleaning I took off work to be home but they never showed up and never called or texted. So they have taken my money and I have waiting two months for a cleaning appointment, only to be stood up. I do not appreciate being lied to and ripped off by this company.
I have looked online and discovered there are many reviews by other people on Google and Yelp reporting experiencing the same thing from this company after buying a Groupon. If Pro Clean does not wish to honor their cleaning specials, they should quit offering them on Groupon. They should not be allowed to take people's money fraudulently and make promises they do not keep.
