  • A night at the Underground is always a good night. Great music, great people, and great (cheap) drinks. The feel of the Underground is very grungey and just down right dirty. There are bras hanging down from the ceiling and the decor is just very eclectic and weird. I usually drop by on Saturday nights which is a pretty good night for music. There's a mix of top 40, dance hits, 90's rock and punk, and then some country music (I can only bump to country music when I'm drunk). There's people bopping around all over the place, but the very hot and steamy (carpeted) dance floor is where it's at- fully equipped with booth seating and a statue of a porn-stache ridden man. The bartenders are great. Very quick, attentive, and donned with a very heavy hand. It's about $6 for mixed drinks and they are strong as f*ck. I usually feel the hit at about 8 drinks deep, but I felt it at about 5 here. This is also probably the only place where the male bartender can call me "babe" and I won't get creeped out. There's something so adorable about hipster bartenders... or hipsters in general. Anyways, great service all in all. I love the bartenders. If you're looking for a really dirty, fun night out, then the Underground is your place.
