  • In 2006 I really loved this place. I took friends here all the time, I even took my parents. Back then I hung out at the Grapevine literally 3xs a week for karaoke, but the last couple of years the place has really taken a nose-dive. The last 2 times I was there, the karaoke host was extremely rude to me and other guests - the one I'm talking about is a middle -aged large female with over-bleached hair and terrible body odor. She made fun of people's singing and insisted on singing 2 or 3 songs in a row herself while customers were waiting an hour to sing. At one point she even came up and ripped the mic from my hand as I was ending a song, and I wasn't the only person she interrupted either. As much as I used to adore karaoke at the Grapevine, after that I will never return.
