  • This is hands down the best ice cream in Pittsburgh!! Antney's a local favorite because the owner is simply the kindest and coolest guy around! I remember this place when it was a Rita's and Antney decided to start his own ice cream shop. Many years later and there are long lines every time I visit (sometimes twice a day!) and it is definitely worth the wait!!! They always have great regular flavors available like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, but the best part of all is that they always have unique one of a kind flavors that no one ever think of such as Scottish Candy or crumb cake and they are all delicious!! It just all depends on what you feel like that moment in time. They didn't forget the k-9s either with their pup cups!! Prices are very reasonable and personally I don't care how much it costs because it's worth all the money in the world to have Antney's ice cream!! If you are having a bad day, go get some Antney's ice cream and it will turn that frown upside down! Gosh, I love this place!! Before winter comes back around I will be stashing many pints of my favs in my freezer!!!
