Keep this in mind when calling for an appt to use your Groupon. This is a copy of my text inquiry with Nicky:
ME: Hi I would like an appt for gel mani and reg pedi tomorrow (Tues) morning. Do u have availability?
NICKY: You have a groupon? Or kshp certificate?
ME: Groupon.
NICKY: Ok... next available is going to be
10/16 @3pm
ME: Thats ok. Want (mani pedi) done before I leave on a trip wed. Will find another shop. Didnt buy groupon yet. Good thing. Also the fact that you asked about groupon before answering if you were available looks like you put off groupon customers and take full paying customers sooner. Which is fine but good to know.
NICKY: Yes I have to ask!
I take a certain amount of groupons and KHSP certificates. I have to allow space for my regular customers also! So yea I do ask because I can't pack my day with groupons period! Groupon takes 50% of that fee clients pay, so u really think I'm gonna pack my day with groupons which I only make about 17$ off of, no i don't think so. This is my bread and butter and how I live, and I'm sorry but I can't feed myself and my family by packing a whole week full of groupon vouchers! Thank you!
