  • I've tried to like this place but they make it impossible for me to love. There are so many expired & stale items you have to be really careful buying here. Also, every way I turn there are hand-written signs saying "Do not sample" or something to that effect. Everywhere! I almost had to give them 3 stars, though, because there are 2 items which keep me coming back: the baklava & the cannolli. Yum! Be careful with the bakery in the display cases, though: it can be very, very stale! And speaking of stale, there's always a sample offered in the bakery & it's the same thing every visit: a less than 1" square of dry white bread. Really? When I asked at the register if there are any clearance areas in the store I was told they didn't need to have them because they sell things fast. Right.
