  • Blansdowne's previous dry cleaners were pretty lackluster. Since writing about them they closed up shop and became an Indian restaurant. Next door a video shop closed down and became a new dry cleaner. Seriously. Blansdowne's new dry cleaner is amazing. It is such a welcome change from the old place. The fellow who runs the shop is super friendly. (He waves to my wife and I as we pass by his window.) He managed to get a serious-ass stain out of a felt hat I thought was never going to look the same. My wife takes all her dry cleaning to him now and hasn't had any complaints. Prices are quite good. (You can dry clean your shirts for $2.) He also does alterations. For hems and the like he's probably all you need.
