  • Abra Review : May 17 as referred by insurance company, to call Abra at my closest location trying to get estimate for a car repair. I explained my situation including I could be home only a few days in a month. The lady said it took at least 4 hours to do an estimate. If I was not ready to drop off my car, they wouldn't do any estimate. She didn't care about my business nor help. Than I called another Abra that was on S Tyron, much far away from my house but got an appointment the following morning after knowing my situation. May 18, I arrived at around 8 am, Elexas the front desk lady was very friendly and told me that Scot would be with me. I also explained that I wouldn't leave my car that day as I had many other things and I had to leave the States for at least a week. They totally understood and explained very clearly how long it took to get my car to repair, how much I needed to pay for my deductible and how I could get that from insurance since it wasn't my fault. How to get a rental car. Everything was so professional and clear that I felt very comfortable. Within an hour, I was able to leave with a copy of the detailed estimate. As I told them when I would be back in town. I am a super busy person that everyday is scheduled. On May 25, as my flight landed in the US, Crystal, another front desk staff had left me a voice mail as a reminder. Once I got back to Charlotte, I called Abra to let them know I could drop off my car if they would wait for me. The following day was holiday. And they did. They even called the rental car for me while I was driving to their shop. I was so impressed with their sincere and devoted help and service. I dropped off the car, finished some paper work, got my rental car and just stayed in town and wait. The following few days, I received text messages from Abra updating me the processing. On May 29, Scott also left me a voice mail as to how the processing was going. On May 30, I called them in the morning as I had already postponed my schedule to leave town, they told me that my car would be ready by end of the following day. On May 31 before 5, I went to pick up my car, they also called the rental company to pick up my rental car from their shop, that saved me time. I have checked my car and it looked perfect. I said I am a British and never give full marks to anyone. For the service and work, I promised them if 10 points is the max, I had no hesitation to give them all 10 points. This is the one on 10421 S Tryon St., Steele Creek. Thanks Abra the one on 10421 S Tryon St., Steele Creek!
