  • Please be very aware when choosing a vet. I went into this place to get a flu shot for my dog. The girl quoted me a price of 65.00 and my dog would have to come back for a second shot ( another 65.00) The $65.00 charge included, the shot 32.00 (the price every where else,) and exam ( my dog didn't need an exam) and a to dispose of medical waste (that would be the needle ( which is dropped in the sharps container). I went over to Valle Verde. Got my dog right in that day and paid 32.00 for the shot, and they charged me nothing to dispose of the needle. Stephanie Vet Hospital is trying to convince people that their dogs needle for the shot is costing them extra to put the needle in the sharps container. I work in the medical field. Those containers hold any where from 60 to 100 syringes ( times that by 4.50 a syringe, that $270.00 just for 60 syringes) Just imagine them collecting on 100 syringes.
