| - honestly i really can't tell the difference between buffets in vegas, but what i can tell you is that bacchanal is definitely worth the $ especially for the detail-oriented displays and the food is simply just top notch!
what i will come back for:
1) efficiency / wait: i love the check in and leave phone number thing, so smart, because why waste customers' time standing in line when the casino can maximize their profit and let customers shop, gamble, and continue to spend money! because you can't possibly be spending money waiting in line!
2) food: duh. honestly, all the food i love were ones that you can find at other buffet, but were just executed on point. like mushroom pizza WITH truffle oil and the crepe station was to die for. lol! i think the seafood station could've been better with smaller / fresher oysters and bigger crab legs. oysters were too big, crab legs were too skinny.
3) ambiance: very upscale. we were first placed in the back of the dining area but was later switched to a table near the entrance and it was much better. i love the modern decor and the dessert bar... DIE.
the price is super steep, but you really do get what you paid for. i think $49.95 would be reasonable, but $57.82 (tax & tip incl.) was a bit difficult for me to hand my credit card over... but nonetheless, i ate plenty of crab legs to justify the spending.
