I'm actually sad to write this. Cain's was the best brunch in Pittsburgh. I reviewed this place at five stars four years ago. Since then I've seen it go downhill pretty drastically. Our service today was incredibly slow - 25 minutes to get drinks! We asked to order 15 minutes after that and were told no, as out server had to take other orders first. The once-famous bloody Mary bar was barely stocked and had much fewer to select from.
Our food arrived in advance of our silverware and was cold. Ever have cold eggs? It's awful. The server dropped the food and never once checked on us again. 45 minutes later we finally managed to flag him down and pay for our cold food. Although we had our cards out and ready to go, he still kept us waiting after dropping off the checks.
Tl;Dr: used to be the best. Now among the worst. Go somewhere else.
