My Co worker had a NBC cake in the office for her birthday. Always been low on my radar until I dived into a slice of their chocolate cake.
So soft. So moist. So flavorful. Not overly sweet.
I stopped into eastern location and their cinnamon swirl sample equally impressive.
I was so amped to get home and try my mini pumpkin spice and relive chocolate heaven.
Pour a glass of milk. My friend and I dive in.
Dense and dry, and my bubble bursts :(
I think ok ok maybe It needs to sit out to room temperature to soften up.
Still no dice.
Same experience with chocolate.
I'm already halfway lost on no consistency factor.
I can only guess smaller cakes cook faster hence dry or not fresh :( no idea.
I will give this place one more shot but I don't want to buy a large cake to get the wow experience. Hopefully consistency is not a recurring issue and this is a one odd experience
