| - Do the people who put these stores together ever shop there?
I entered to return and item. They have a podium at the entrance that I know is to check in if you walk in with electronics. There was no one standing there.
So I proceeded to customer service.
A woman about 30 feet from me was screeching for me to check in my item, now mind you, she is on the other side of a long set of bars that separates the entrance from the exit.
I can't hear what she is saying because of the doors opening and closing so I have to now walk closer to her to hear since she is wailing at me about God knows what.
She informs me that I have to check in my item so I tell her that she can come around to me. She says that she's alone and can't leave her post. That's not my f-ing problem. I'm not a dog that comes when called. I proceed to the customer service line with my receipt in hand. I mean does Frye's not have enough money in the budget to employ a podium check in person?
She sent a man over to me to check my item, which is fine. Except that during the course of him giving me some receipt from a clipboard, he walks away from me, with my receipt in his hand.
So I follow him and tell him not to walk away from me with my property, because at this time I don't know that I will be sent to another counter, and I don't want to lose my place in line, and he said how he was just moving to the counter to finish writing, to which I respond that he could tell me that since I OWN the receipt.
He is a jerk with excuses as if he's doing me some favor, so I tell him to go F himself. Who need this crap.
He tells me I have to go to a different counter for my return.
So I go, where that person just opened my box to see that the product was in the box and filled out my check in receipt. The she sends me back to the first counter! Way to go!
So now I'm back in the original line, and when I get to my turn to be served, THAT LADY opens my box also, and does more in depth investigating about my return. Which is fine, but what's the point of sending me to the first counter! NOTHING! Waste of time!
She asked me if I'd like to get something else to which I respond no thank you.
Then she asks me if I'd like my money returned to my card "or"......Then doesn't finish the sentence.
So I ask her "or what", if there are other options? I mean it seems pretty stupid to me to even ask.
So since I"m getting sarcastic with this idiot, a manger steps over to take over and starts asking me the same questions I've already answered. Which I told her I already answered.
Then she takes out the product to inspect it so I asked her what is the point of sending me to the first counter since it seems that woman's opinions don't mater!
"Oh it's just what we do."
When things don't make sense there are reasons. This store is run by rude idiots with zero common sense.
I'm not interested in doing business with time wasters with policies in place that make no sense.
