| - My gf & some good friends treated me to this place for my bday dinner!
Reservations were made for 5:30pm. Things came up so we pushed it back to 6pm; they had no problem with that and were nice about it. A friend ordered a ribeye, and about 10 minutes later asked if he could change his order to a porter steak. They allowed it and were also very nice about it. A+ for service here.
A steakhouse in the Bellagio... It was very nice & elegant, as one would expect from the sounds of it. We were seated in our own private room around a round table.
We ordered
- Porter steak: a friend & I ordered one. Delicious. Huge. Parts of my medium-rare steak were more so rare (a friend said it was still moo'ing), but I didn't mind. My friend's medium steak had parts that were more so medium-rare - he didn't mind this either.
- Filet Mignon: My gf & her sister got this. I honestly thought it was the best piece of filet I've ever sank my teeth in.
- Ribeye: it comes in an 18oz and a 28oz. My friend is a big eater and he mentioned that he should've ordered the 28oz.
- Mac & cheese: AWESOME! I ordered it with my porter, and I thought it complemented my meal perfectly. Yummmmmmyyy.
- Asparagus: Fresh
- Broccoli: Fresh
All in all, the meal was a very memorable one for me. My steak & mac/cheese was delicious, and service was top notch. Very, very pricey. I do remember my porter steak being around 58$ on the menu, and the other steaks being of similar price. The side dishes were all around 10$ or more.
*One of my friends wanted prime rib in particular and at a place called "Prime" Steakhouse, you'd think they'd have it, right? Wrong.
**Advice: I'd suggest that you order ur steak to be cooked at one level higher than how you normally ask for it. Ex. If you like urs cooked at medium rare, ask for medium.
