  • Shades of McDonald's. I have been to this location a few times and overall it has a good concept and the food is palatable. LK boasts: Healthy. Local. Sustainable. Healthy? Depends who you ask. Local? CA and well beyond; including internationally!? Sustainability? Quinoa from Peru and Bolivia. Upon, our recent visit, we saw from a distance, a gentleman sitting outside at a table WITHOUT his shirt on. As we are not anywhere near a beach, this is tacky and unhygienic. We debated even eating here just on this alone. Disturbed but, hungry, we decided to enter and order. I brought up the fact that there was a fellow customer dining sans shirt but, the cashier said "I don't know him!". OK!? No concern or further action taken on behalf of ANY of the staff. 2 stars because I want to support their intuitive but, I have reached out to their corporate office with these concerns and been ignored.
