The only thing notable about Taj Mahal was that my water glass was always full. The food was bland and took nearly an hour to come out. We went on a Saturday night and there were only two other occupied tables when we got there, so the delay was definitely not because they were busy. The portions were awfully small and entrees consisted only of meat and sauce...hello? Could we maybe have a little rice or bread to soak up all that sauce? I guess that wouldn't have been so bad if there had been more than three pieces of chicken in my vindaloo (seriously, 3 pieces, I'm not exaggerating). The paneer naan, which we ordered after finishing everything else because we were still hungry, was no more flavorful than the garlic naan - couldn't even tell there was cheese in it. Seeing the positive reviews this place has gotten, I really hope they were experiencing some technical difficulties or something and that we weren't shorted because of using a Groupon. That would, after all, completely negate the point of selling Groupons (which is to attract new customers). I will not be going back. I don't know why I'm giving them 2 stars, except that one star just seems mean.
