My significant other wanted to try this restaurant and I was up for it. We made a reservation and I was happy to see we had a booth.
I thought the interior was a bit dated and dark. My bestie rather liked the dark English club room feel.
The poached pear bruschetta was amazing. The sweetness of the pear combined with the salty of prosciutto was delicious
I had the short rib roast and the other meal was the mustard grilled pork chop
The meat with the rib roast was okay but the grease that coated the vegetables was so heavy it gleaned in the darkness. This overwhelmed the meal. So many potatoes I was wishing that a green veggie was added
The pork chop was okay, but the vegetables were also co weed in grease
It was a special night so we splurged and has dessert. The creme brûlée was not good. The custard was dry and while the top had a hard crust it was not an even ...... sad
The better of the two desserts was the brownie.
All in all I thought it was a very average meal
