  • We stayed in an Airbnb at 1100 Docteur Penfield and this Couche Tard is accessible directly from the apartment building. No need to even go outside! You can also, of course, access it from the street, although the entrance is a bit hard to find because it's underground. The subterranean location works well with the submarine decor theme and there's also a Subway in this Couche Tard...hahaha. Let's get some subs in the subterranean submarine themed Couche Tard. I highly recommend the coffee here. They have this uber complex coffee and latte maker thing that was a bit of a struggle the first time I was here and was super hungover and just wanted COFFEE. Once I got the hang of the thing though, it was awesome and we got coffees here several times during our stay. They also had some snacks but I do not recommend their breakfast croissants at all. The croissant au fromage was just nasty, but it was $1 CAD, oh well. Nice selections of magazines and the employees were nice and chill. Not really a destination place but if you're close by it is 24/7 and has essentials. Oh and the coffee, get the coffee! Cheap and strong and good!
