  • What an amazing experience my wife and I had. From when we first walked in when the maitre d handed her a long stem red rose to the complimentary desserts everything was fantastic. We were seated in a very romantic area and her rose was placed in a vase. Then we were asked if we wanted wine we knew we wanted champagne so we ordered that after looking over this very extensive wine list and the Sommelier came over to help us choose. He was great and so friendly. Our wait staff- yes staff- then asked if we wanted any appetizers. We were ready to order. My wife ordered the scallops and I ordered the Duck Anise flambĂ©. In case you don't know every entree comes with salad, sorbet to cleanse your palate after the salad and complimentary chocolate covered fruits. David one of our wait staff wheeled over a cart and told he was about to play 20 questions, because you get to pick from 20 items to have on your salad-- from shrimp to hearts of Palm and artichokes to chopped eggs and anchovy. Yes the usual salad items are there but each person picks their own items After salad raspberry sorbet in a mini ice cream cone was brought to us. Then came the entrees. My duck was flambed table side. It was wonderful. My wife's scallops were out of this world. Last but definitely not least were the chocolate covered strawberries, apricots and figs. We didn't order any other dessert because we were too full but we did order the Hugo's Cappuccino it's loaded with brandy and some other liqueurs. All the while during this experience our wait staff made sure our glasses were not empty and we had whatever we needed. The sommelier even filled our champagne glasses so we didn't have to. If you think this was expensive--- well. How about 160 including tax and tip. Why did we ever wait so long to go there
