| - I am a stickler for details... especially the ones you can't see:
Intricate writings engraved along a button
The inside lining of a jacket
The the design on a shoe sole
If that sounds ridiculous... skip this store but if you are salivating right now RUN (don't walk) to your nearest Athropologie.
This location is two floors and they carry woman's clothing, loungewear, accessories, flatware/home decor items and general found objects.
The visual concept for Anthropologie is breathtaking.
Nine foot tall cranes made entirely of conned newspaper, old distressed cabinets used as shelving, and vintage teapots displayed next to amazing textile coffee table books
The clothes themselves are clean, classic and ultra feminine. I am pretty curvy and buying "adult clothing" that is both affordable and age appropriate is sometimes difficult. I managed to find an adorable retro style halter dress!
As for the price, it's not bargain pricing but it's inline with Aritzia, Banana Republic, Tristan & America and Club Monaco. $120 for a dress is nothing if you consider a dress at Le Chateau can cost the same amount without the whimsical details.
Keep an eye out for the hidden sale section upstairs.
It's is a bit cramped but you can find some great deals.
The change rooms are large, actually have a mirror in the inside, and plenty of room to hang your garments. If you are shopping solo or like braving a brutal self-opinion, there are also two large 3 way mirrors in the change room area.
