| - This review is way overdue. I've been meaning to write it for awhile now, and am finally taking the time to do it. When I moved here in January I was looking for a good, trustworthy shop. I honestly hate taking my cars to shops, and usually do my own repairs, unless the job is to big.
After shipping my car over from Hawaii, I stopped by a Discount Tire to check the air. The guy checking the air asked me what year my car was, I told him, then he told me my tires were dated 2006. He suggested I not travel very far out of town until I get them replaced.
I had a power steering line that was also leaking. So I decided to take it to Ketchum's, and kill 2 birds with one stone.
I love family owned businesses, especially multi generational ones. I think it tells you a lot about the integrity of the owner if they stay in business for a long time.
I took my car in, they fixed the power steering hose, and put all new tires on. However, the day I drove it home I noticed something was wrong. I won't go into details on what happened. Needless to say, somebody forgot to do something.
However, what I was most impressed with was the honesty and integrity of these guys. They told me it was their fault, that someone did not do something and completely resolved the problem.
For me that is the most important thing with any shop, or any business for that matter. Honesty, and integrity!
They could have made something up, or tried to cover up the mistake, l but they did not. They were straight up and honest with me.
It's the only shop I'll be going to from now on!
