saw ricky hatton defeat malignaggi here last night as well as attended the weigh-in the day before. the gallagher brothers were in the house as well as david beckham and stallone. the arena felt intimate and the lines of sight were good. the public areas gave the manchester/hatton/england fans lots of space to lead rousing sing-alongs/chants and taunt the malignaggi fans - no fights and no terribly drunk fans - lots of good chants and songs though. the beer was $6 to $7 (reasonable) - the ladies restrooms were great/clean/empty - tho' it was a fight and it could have been the ladies/gentlemen ratio for that. the nathan's hot dog stand is right around the corner.
