  • They stopped showing up without my knowledge for over a month, I was still paying them, and they nearly ruined my pool pump. I gave them a second chance and Kirby didn't show up and won't return my text. I used SOS from 2016 to May of 2017. They used to be great. My pool is saltwater and very low maintenance. I have a great vacuum that runs at night and no trees/shrubs that lose their leaves to my pool. Well. I noticed the water pressure exiting the pump was really low, so I cleaned my filter (my job - not SOS). Afterwards, the pump won't prime. I chase down the problem, and it took me several hours to get all of the leaves and two dead birds that had been clogging the strainers and equipment. I actually found leaves and plastic bound inside of my pump. I have a very expensive pump and it could have easily been ruined. After checking security cameras- SOS had not been to my house in over a month. It could have been longer but I have a months worth of footage. I contact Kirby and he is very apologetic. He told me he will come by the following Monday. He made it on Tuesday. I had already done all of the damage control (5 hours on my Sunday), so there wasn't much for him to do. Afterwards he stopped showing up again. He told me he would be at my house on a certain day and never showed up. This went on for a couple of weeks- I called him out on it and he won't respond. Beyond disappointing- they were negligent and owe me for services I already paid for. If I didn't know how to clean my pool, take things apart and troubleshoot the pump, this could have cost me a lot of money. If you can't do your job, just tell me so I can find someone else. I had to babysit by checking my security cameras. Kirby is a really nice guy- which just makes it worse because I wanted him to succeed.
