| - They have a great patio to sit outside and work, especially with a dog. They're also open 24/7, so I don't have to worry about being kicked out if I need to stay late.
But the food. Come on, guys. Why do you even have a menu if you're consistently out of so many ingredients? Every time I go to order food OR drink, I need to have at least two or three options in mind because they are, guaranteed, out of the stuff to make one or more of them.
It's gotten so frustrating, that I won't go to Urban Beans except for the patio during the cooler months. Copper Star has a great menu, always in stock. Lux has a full kitchen and bar, late hours, and they're always in stock. These places also rotate local art, Copper Star even offers jazz/blues music live on Sundays. There are just too many alternatives to Urban Beans to convince me to put up with this ridiculous stocking issue.
Urban Beans is a fantastic place to sit and work for a while, but don't come here for the food.
